Affiliate disclosure

This page satisfies our disclosure obligations under the U.S. FTC Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), the UK CAP Code and the EU UCPD on unfair commercial practices, plus Google's policy on qualifying paid links with rel="sponsored".

What we earn commissions on

  • ClickCease — through CHEQ's affiliate programme. When a reader signs up for a paid plan through one of our links, we receive a commission.
  • CHEQ Essentials — through the same affiliate programme.
  • Other click fraud and bot-traffic tools we cover may have affiliate or referral programmes; where they do, we use them and disclose at the top of the page.

What you pay

Nothing extra. The price on the vendor's site is the same whether you arrive through our link or directly. Some vendors offer affiliate-only promotions; when one applies, we display the promo code or pricing on the relevant page.

How affiliate links are marked

  • Every outbound link to a vendor we have an affiliate relationship with carries rel="sponsored noopener".
  • Every page containing such a link shows a yellow disclosure banner above the fold.
  • CTAs labelled "Try ClickCease", "Visit CHEQ Essentials", etc. are affiliate links.

How rankings work

Affiliate commissions do not change our ranking. Products are scored using the rubric in our editorial policy. A higher-paying vendor that scores lower will appear lower in lists and comparisons; a lower-paying or non-paying vendor that scores higher will appear above it.

Why we use the affiliate model

It funds the time required to maintain reviews, refresh pricing, and write long-form guides without putting the content behind a paywall or running ad placements. We think it is the cleanest model when paired with the disclosure and ranking rules above.
